Here are a couple of examples of work we have undertaken.

We have been involved with this client for over 2 years and have advised throughout the entire purchase of the business, which was ultimately completed in January 2020. Myriad has worked extensively with the client to produce a development programme, proposing lodge designs, implementing new administration systems and aiding marketing development, offering planning advice, presenting preferred suppliers and acting as a check and balance to ensure the client was able to have a clear understanding of the business and maximise a sustainable income stream and profitable return on their substantial investment. Myriad continues to be retained by Willow Lakes as the business develops through a phased growth period, where the programme of development is continually evaluated.

We were recently retained by the Aisthorpe Family, who acquired a Golf and Leisure Park. The business had been sold as a going concern but, upon takeover, it was evident that there was very little organisation of staff and departments in place. Furthermore, much of the historical trading and administration history was missing.

Myriad was called in to restructure the team and implement control systems for accounting purposes, as well as relaunching the F&B operation. Additionally, Myriad advised on a change of suppliers and the refurbishment of the course, which was in a poor state of repair, along with preparing departmental budgets to provide accountability of the reorganised management team.

In cooperation with the Operational Director, a five-year development plan was conceived and implemented, specifically for the development of the course with longer fairways and a new green and sales strategy for the sale of lodges. Myriad continues to advise on the ongoing trading and development of the business.
